In April of 2019, Edward Simon and Art Lande played their first concert together. They wanted more, so despite many obstacles during the COVID-19 pandemic, they got together in the studio, recorded, mixed and produced Daisy. It is an exquisite and moving, duo piano album from two brilliant and masterful musicians.

In loving memory of my late mother Daisy Morillo Garcia (1942–2019). She was very present in our minds as Art and I made this recording. "Daisy" is an improvised piece created with her in mind. May the music contained herein, serve as an expression of appreciation for all her love and all that she gave me, my family, and all those who loved her. I also wish to thank Art Lande for sharing his immeasurable gifts and for being who he is.
